Congratulations to the City of Kirkland on the opening of the beautiful, innovative new Justice Center! Lisa was honored to attend the dedication ceremony. Kirkland Mayor Amy Walen officially opened this important new public service center.

Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) Breakfast for Justice

Lisa was honored to attend the Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) Breakfast for Justice Fundraiser at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center on May 22nd. The Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality, no-cost civil legal services to survivors of domestic violence throughout King County, Washington, and to low-income residents of East and Northeast King County. King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert was the moving keynote speaker who spoke of her own experience as a survivor of domestic violence. A woman of remarkable courage, Councilmember Lambert has worked tirelessly to protect victims of domestic violence. Lisa was proud to help celebrate ELAP’s 25 years of service to our community.  

Judge Linda Jacke Endorses Lisa!

We are truly honored to announce that King County District Court JUDGE LINDA JACKE has endorsed Lisa! Judge Jacke, who is retiring from Position No. 3, is a well-respected member of the District Court bench, and has served the people of King County with distinction for more than 22 years. Judge Jacke’s endorsement of Lisa to succeed her in Position 3 is particularly gratifying. Lisa is honored and humbled to receive Judge Jacke’s endorsement.

Lisa O’Toole is a frequent speaker at the Children’s Justice Center of King County’s “Kids’ Court”. “Kids’ Court” is a program which acquaints children who are victims of abuse with the courtroom and procedures in court before they have to testify. Lisa is honored to participate in this compassionate program designed to help calm the fears of young crime victims and to help them understand the Judge’s role in the courtroom.
